Process Sculpture Project Post #5

I have created two parts of my project and it has been really fun. I have to focus next weeek on working faster, so I can finish before break starts. The rest of my project is focusing on assemblage and plaster casting. My idea is the focus on a tree and creating a tree of life and death to represent how even if memories are not in your head they are still in your heart in soul. That is what my bowl represent whic will be smooth, sturdy, with a vibrant glaze and the rest of the tree will be falling apart or lacking structure. The tree will be within the bowl and supporting it. I do not have a picture yet because one of my things is in the kiln and the other is in the men's dressing room, but I do know that it took me a while to get the hang of wheel-throwing and I am glad that I could focus on it and complete it.
