Process Post Q1 2024 Project #20

This is where I am right now in my Q1 project. I want to build more layers and create a more interesting piece than where the painting is right now. I want to go towards a place where I can look at it and not be annoyed or consistently pointing out things that bother me about the piece. I will say that I am not looking for perfection because I actually like the abstract work is not perfect, but I am looking for something that is well crafted and effective. Where this painting is at right now feels very flat, so I am going to focus on better shapes ad layers. I had a goal to integrate these paper fish into the collage, but at this point they are painted over. When looking really closely at the painting the outline of the fish is present which is interesting. I am excited to see how the final product is going to turn out.
