Process Post

At this point in my process my favorite part of my painting is the background. I have been working on my content and trying to create a cohesive color scheme that elicits some sort of reaction. I am also trying to layer more and keep adding negative space. I want to keep making marks, so I think If i keep layering then the negative space will come with that. I am going to add in some more and and pink because it goes along with my idea of having love and pain in the same space together, which happens quite often to people. This piece feels like I am going in a new direction, and I hope to use my past skills with my content to make an effective painting. This is my first pancake, so I have to trust the process. I think need to keep adding surface and see where my marks take me.
