Figure Drawing Blog Post #19

Through my figure drawings, I’ve gained a better understanding of the human body and how to capture movement. I've faced challenges with foreshortening, which requires me to see the actual shapes of the body rather than what I think they should look like. This shift in focus has helped me create more realistic drawings. This recent set of figure drawings was successful because I can see clear improvements in my skills. I’m more confident in accurately depicting how different parts of the body relate to one another in space. I'm excited to keep practicing and applying what I've learned about movement and shape in my future artwork.
