August Process Post #18

These are my two finalized pieces. For the abstract painting, I was able to build up many more layers, which added depth and complexity. I feel like these layers really bring out the coastal vibes that connect so well with the energy of "Freaks" by Surf Curse. The song and the painting just seem to complement each other perfectly. As for the jellyfish/disco ball piece, I’m really happy with how it turned out. The lightness of the watercolor background created a nice contrast against the detailed jellyfish, making the whole piece feel cohesive and balanced. Both pieces reflect the ideas I was aiming for, and I’m excited to see how they’ll resonate with others.
